# Which VNISH build does my Antminer need?

> The one that matches three values: your miner model as printed on the case sticker, your control board platform, and the install method. Never infer the build from the model name alone. Two identical looking miners can need two different files.

## The four control board platforms

- AML, Amlogic A113D chip next to the SD slot. Typical on S21 and later S19 batches.
- XIL, Xilinx Zynq chip in the middle of the board. The most common S19 board.
- CV, CVITEK CV1835. Typical on L9, T21 and 2024 or newer boards.
- BB, a separate BeagleBone daughter board plugged into the base board. Older S17 and T17.

## How to resolve it without guessing

- Read the model from the sticker on top of the case, including the batch variant such as S19 (88).
- Open the lid and compare the chip marking against the four platforms above.
- Give both values to the firmware finder, or look the build id up directly in the published catalog.
- Read back the build id, file name and SHA-256 before you download anything.

## Coverage

45 exact Antminer models and 73 published builds: the S21 family including Hydro and Immersion, S21+, S21 Pro, S21 XP, T21, the S19 and T19 range, plus L7 and L9 for Scrypt, across all four control board platforms.
