Return to stock firmware

Follow the documented route back to stock firmware. Timing and recovery steps depend on the miner, control board and current firmware state.

From the VNISH interface

  1. Open System → FirmwareThe stock image saved at install time is listed there
  2. Choose restore stockConfirm and wait for the reboot
  3. VerifyThe stock web interface answers on the same IP

From the toolkit, at fleet scale

  1. Select the groupThe same group you used for the install
  2. Choose restore stock firmwarePoint it at the stock image if it asks
  3. Watch the log per deviceDevices report back one by one
What survives a rollbackPool settings usually survive because they live in the miner config, not in the firmware image. Tuning profiles do not - they are a VNISH feature. Export your working config before rolling back if you plan to come back.

If the device does not come back

A device that does not answer after a flash is almost never dead. Go to recovery - the SD card path brings back nearly every case.
