Return to stock firmware
Follow the documented route back to stock firmware. Timing and recovery steps depend on the miner, control board and current firmware state.
From the VNISH interface
- Open System → FirmwareThe stock image saved at install time is listed there
- Choose restore stockConfirm and wait for the reboot
- VerifyThe stock web interface answers on the same IP
From the toolkit, at fleet scale
- Select the groupThe same group you used for the install
- Choose restore stock firmwarePoint it at the stock image if it asks
- Watch the log per machineMachines report back one by one
What survives a rollbackPool settings usually survive because they live in the miner config, not in the firmware image. Tuning profiles do not - they are a VNISH feature. Export your working config before rolling back if you plan to come back.
If the machine does not come back
A machine that does not answer after a flash is almost never dead. Go to recovery - the SD card path brings back nearly every case.
